‘Teas The Season

Breaking the rules of tea never tasted so good…

Nothing quite says party season like cocktails, so to celebrate we’ve developed five seriously festive tea cocktails that are sure to get the party started!

Christmas Breakfast Martini

Kickstarting our five festive cocktails, we have the Christmas Breakfast Martini; because Christmas Day is the one day where a boozy breakfast isn’t frowned upon! This rich and warming flavour fusion will give you an instant Christmassy fireside glow. Add a sprig of rosemary and a slice of dried orange for an extra festive flair.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 T-Series Earl Grey Tea Bag
  • 120ml Tequila or White Rum
  • 2tbsp Strawberry Jam
  • 4tbsp Orange Juice
  • Ice Cubes
  • Dried orange and rosemary to garnish

Method:

  • Tumble the ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. Add in the tequila or white rum, before cutting open your tea bag and tipping the contents in.
  • Add the strawberry jam and orange juice along with the ice and shake for 10-15 seconds.
  • Strain into two glasses, garnish with rosemary and dried orange, and there you have it, a drink full of Christmas cheer.

Almond Delight

Almond and single origin tea come together in perfect harmony in this popular cocktail known as the Almond Delight. A delicious delight, this cocktail is easy to make and a real crowd-pleaser.

What You’ll Need:

Method:

  • Gather the ingredients together and add to your favourite cocktail shaker, along with a generous serving of ice.
  • Shake together for 10-15 seconds in the rhythm of your favourite Christmas classic.
  • Strain into an ice-filled old fashioned glass and garnish with sliced lemon.

Classic Mojito

Looking for something flavourful but refreshing after Christmas dinner? Look no further. This Dilmah twist on a classic will get the party started in no time! The combination of herbaceous mint, tart lime and fizzy soda water is the perfect palate cleanser. Ready to squeeze, press and churn? Let’s get started.

What you’ll need:

Method:

  • Start by muddling the mint together in a cocktail shaker to release the fragrant oils.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients into the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Strain the contents into two glasses filled with ice. Top with soda water and garnish with more fresh lime and mint leaves. Chin, chin!
